When you become a ROAR member, you join a community of people on Vancouver Island who believe that everyone — regardless of who they love or how they identify — deserves to feel safe and have a place to call home.

Membership

Membership is how you become part of the ROAR community — not just a supporter, but a stakeholder.

Members receive our monthly newsletter, can vote at the Annual General Meeting, and help shape the direction of an organization working to end the isolation that LGBTQI+ refugees face.

To apply to be a member, please complete this form and pay your membership fee. You will be directed to a page to make payment once you’ve submitted the form.

In order to vote in the Annual General Meeting, you must become a member or renew your membership by August 1.

Application For Membership

Read ROAR’s Constitution and Bylaws.

By submitting this application, you consent to ROAR collecting and storing your personal information for the purposes of managing your membership, providing organizational updates, and meeting our obligations under the BC Societies Act. Your data will be stored on secure servers located in the United States and is subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. If you prefer to make your application offline, please email us directly at contact@roarrefugees.com
